Merit Health Biloxi Now Accepting Applicants for the 2018 Teen Volunteer Summer Progam

Merit Health Biloxi offers a formalized teen volunteer program to students who have an interest in healthcare. The Teen Volunteer Program offers students 14-17 years old opportunities for career exposure in the healthcare profession, as well as provides opportunities to students who are required to perform community service.

In addition to volunteering, students will hear professionals speak on a wide variety of career opportunities in healthcare. Speakers will touch on job descriptions, education, certification, salaries, experiences and best practices.

Merit Health Biloxi will select up to 10 volunteers for the Teen Volunteer Summer Program based on interview, requirements met and best fit. The Teen Volunteer Summer Program will begin Monday, June 11 and end Friday, July 20. Volunteers are required to serve a minimum of 12 hours each week. Applications are due by Friday, May 11.
