Pedro Munera, M.D., Has Joined the Medical Staff of Merit Health Biloxi.

Dr. Munera received his Doctorate of Medicine at Facultad de Medicina de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain. He completed an internship in psychiatry at Texas Tech University at El Paso and then a residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth, TX. Dr. Munera then completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Pittsburg in Pennsylvania and the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Dr. Munera has been practicing on the coast since 2012. He is a member of several professional and scientific societies, has received numerous awards and has been the author of several publications. Dr. Munera is board certified in general psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry.
